Sustain(ability) Online Course
Sustain(ability) and the Art Studio is an online course that prepares artists and art educators to develop ways of thinking about sustainability in their artistic practice or teaching, and prepares them with essential tools for forming their own sustainable art studio and practices.
By the end of the course, students will have an understanding of the possibilities that exist within various natural art processes (such as natural watercolors, inks and dyes, charcoal, natural paints, handmade paper and recycled materials) and have a broad understanding of the kind of relationships and partnerships that can be developed within their communities.
This course is particularly designed and recommended for those interested in integrating sustainability in their teaching and/or artistic practice.
Upon completion, all students receive a course certificate for the hours.
